Extends existing Smart Garden water feature cable
WILL IT FIT? Check the plug on your existing panel lead — that is the only thing that decides it.
✔ FITS: a round push-fit barrel plug (5.5mm DC jack). This is the older direct-solar Smart Garden design, broadly features bought before 2026.
✘ DOES NOT FIT: a threaded screw collar or a small single-pin plug. That is the newer design — Hybrid kits (SW1020D / SW1040D) and the 2026 kits (1260016-G / 1260028-G).
If yours is the newer type: Smart Garden do not make an extension cable for any of the new solar or hybrid water features, so there is no longer version to buy. Reposition the panel or the feature instead.

Use this extension cable when you need extra reach between your Smart Garden water feature components, so you can position the feature while keeping the existing lead run in place. It is intended for Smart Garden products and is designed to extend an existing Smart Garden water feature cable.

Extend Your Smart Garden Water Feature Cable
The 5m extension cable gives you greater flexibility when placing your water feature. It extends the length from power source to pump by 5 metres, allowing you to position the feature where you need it.

Please note: these extension cables are for Smart Garden water feature products only and cannot be used with other products.
Compatibility — Please Check Before Ordering
This 5m extension cable fits older direct-solar Smart Garden water features with the original DC barrel connector — the same connector used on pumps such as SP-160XC3 and SP-160X3S.
This cable is NOT compatible with:
Hybrid models — SW1020D and SW1040D Solar Battery Hybrid kits (Kingsbury Hybrid and similar) use a different connector
New 2026 Smart Garden kits — 1260016-G (1.6W Twin Glass Pump & Panel Kit) and 1260028-G (1.8W Glass Pump & Panel Kit) use an updated connector
