Overview
Mains adapter for Smart Garden solar water features. Choose 6V Standard (805UKM01) for original direct-solar features or 7V Hybrid (9011002) for the new hybrid kits with onboard battery.
Two versions: 6V Standard (805UKM01) or 7V Hybrid (9011002)
Mains power supply for Smart Garden fountains
6V for original direct-solar features (Neptune, Genoa, Water Mill, Rock Fall, Fairy Falls, Wishing Well, Tipping Pail, Frog Frolics, Duck Family, Umbrella, Chatsworth, Queensbury, plus legacy Wychwood and legacy Kingsbury)
7V for new hybrid features (2024+ Wychwood Hybrid, 2024+ Kingsbury Hybrid, Pot Falls, Otter Falls, Buddha, Quad, Fengshui Falls, plus PowerBee SW1020D and SW1040D hybrid spare kits)
Use this mains power supply to run your Smart Garden water feature from a mains socket when you want an alternative to solar operation. We stock two versions to cover the entire Smart Garden range — pick the right one in the dropdown above.
Two Versions — Choose The Right One
6V Standard (805UKM01)
For original direct-solar features — the panel runs straight into the pump with no built-in battery:
Neptune Cascade, Genoa Cascade, Water Mill, Rock Fall
Fairy Falls, Wishing Well, Heywood Mill, WaterWeave
How to tell which you have: if your panel runs straight into the pump with no battery box, you have the original direct-solar version — choose 6V. If your kit has an integrated battery (visible battery box, often with an indicator light, runs the pump into the evening), you have the new hybrid version — choose 7V. Pick the wrong one and the fountain may run weakly or not charge the hybrid battery. If you’re unsure, drop us a message and we’ll check for you.
Power Your Fountain On Dull Days with 805UKM01
The mains adapter takes over from your solar panel — disconnect the panel and plug the adapter into the same socket on your pump. The transformer is built into the plug itself, so it goes into a standard indoor socket or a weatherproof outdoor socket / dry box. The cable then runs to your pump in place of the solar lead.
Please note: choose the correct version above. The 6V Standard is for the older direct-solar features only. The 7V Hybrid is for the new hybrid kits with onboard battery management.

Pick the right version using the dropdown above. Wrong version = fountain won’t run reliably.
Disconnect your solar panel from the pump (or hybrid kit).
Plug the adapter cable into the same connector you just disconnected.
Plug the mains plug into a standard 3-pin socket. The transformer is built into the plug itself — no separate brick needed.
Switch on — the pump should run continuously while plugged in.
Outdoor use: The 6V Standard is rated for weatherproof outdoor sockets. The 7V Hybrid label states indoor use only — if you need to run it outdoors, use a fully enclosed weatherproof socket or dry box.
The adapter converts mains AC into low-voltage DC matched to your fountain’s pump (6V for direct-solar pumps, 7V for hybrid kits with onboard battery management). It takes over from the solar panel — same connector, same role — so the pump runs continuously regardless of weather.
The hybrid version (7V) supplies enough voltage headroom for the battery management circuit on SW1020D and SW1040D kits to keep the pump running AND keep the battery topped up at the same time. The 6V standard version isn’t suitable for these kits because it falls short of the BMS minimum voltage threshold.
