The EasyPond 2000 Pump and Filter Set contains the MightyMite 2000 filter pump. This pump pushes water through to the EasyFilter 4500 Pond Filter.
Conveniently this set also includes a 5m length of 25mm hose to join the pump to the filter.
Also included are hose clips with easy-tighten butterfly handles. This means that you have everything you need to power a pond up to 2040 litres (450 gallons)
Pond Filter includes filter media and a 7 watt UVC to prevent your pond water going green
No need to take the lid off on this filter - simply move the rocker switch from 'clean' to 'waste' and the pump water switches direction creating a backwash to flush debris to waste
Pop-up cleaning indicator lets you know when sponges need a main clean

- Simply screw the supplied stepped hosetail onto the MightyMite 2000 filter pump outlet and connect the pond hose,
this will then be connected to the filter at the other end
- The hose attached to the pump outlet needs to be connected to the filter inlet hosetail.
- The waste filter outlet should be attached to a hose which is positioned to a flower bed or drain
as this will drain away dirty water during a back flush (quick interval cleaning).
- The last hosetail; the outlet allows the cleaned water to re-enter the pond.
This can either be straight to the main pond via a hose or a waterfall.
Your pond pump and UVC filter are powered by electricity, meaning they need to be connected to the mains supply. Special care must be taken during this part of the installation process and we recommend consulting an electrician to acquire assistance.
For maximum flow performance (reduced friction loss) it is recommended that the lowest unused section of all pump and filter hosetails be removed if possible.
The EasyPond 2000 Pump and Filter Set provides UV, media and biological filtration which allows the water drawn in form the pump to be separated from any debris; therefore providing cleaner water back in to the pond.
we had some very bad problems with green water - seemed impossible to get rid of, tries literally everything including chemicals which the fish were none too happy with so opted for a filter system after reading online, the 2000 seemed ideal and within our price range considering we already spent £50 on liquid...! anyway this is is very good quality kit and filters the water very efficiently, we noticed a difference after around a week the water just seemed healthier... have been running it now for around four months and are chuffed with the results although not yet completely clear water its almost their just a little murky now where as before it looked fairly bad to be honest. The smell ahs now gone and I am confident that by next year the water will be clean and clear, totally recommend this filter kit very good value
