Follow these essential steps to ensure proper installation and prevent damage to your lights:
Step 1: Location Selection
Choose a south-facing position where possible
Ensure 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily
Avoid areas shaded by buildings or trees
Keep away from artificial light sources
Consider seasonal sun position changes
Step 2: Ground Preparation & Spike Installation
Water hard ground to soften soil if needed
Insert ONLY the spike portion first
Push spike straight down to desired depth
Ensure spike is firmly secured
Check spike is vertical before continuing
Step 3: Bollard Light Attachment
Place the bollard light onto the installed spike
Ensure the connection is secure and stable
Check the light is perfectly vertical
Adjust spike position if needed
Verify solar panel is unobstructed
Step 4: Final Setup
Remove any protective film from solar panel

The Your Bollard Light combines energy-efficient LED lighting with advanced solar charging and intelligent motion detection to provide bright, reliable illumination without the need for mains power.
1. Solar Charging
During daylight, the integrated 5V / 2W monocrystalline solar panel captures sunlight, even in cloudy conditions, and charges the built-in 3600 mAh LiFePO₄ battery. A full charge typically takes 5–6 hours in direct sun.
2. Smart Power Storage
The high-capacity battery stores enough energy for 10–12 hours continuous use and can power the light for 2–3 nights during cloudy or rainy weather.
3. PIR Motion Detection
The built-in PIR sensor monitors up to a 6 m range with a wide 110° detection angle. When movement is detected, the light automatically brightens to the pre-set mode and dims or turns off when the area is clear — saving power and extending runtime.
4. Multiple Lighting Modes
Choose from 4 brightness settings (1000 / 800 / 400 / 200 lumens) to match your needs — from maximum security to gentle ambient lighting.
