There is only one battery despite the unit having facilities for 3. Nathan was very helpful. It turned out we had the battery upside down. The flat side should touch the spring!

until they were cut by mistake late last year?? so I'm ordering them again after finding my old Invoice. Well worth the money.
PowerBee Endurance ® Solar Fairy Lights 240 in Warm White : Pretty lights without the need for much sunlight
We now have these lights in 2 trees in my small yard/garden. Due to the location of the tree the solar panel is currently right up against the wall of the house and does not get any direct light for the whole day and is always in shade. The past week has been overcast and the lights stay on for about 4 hours each night and give a new dimension to the yard in the evenings.
I'm going to move them into a sunny spot once we have sorted the garden and look forward to them being brighter and staying on all night.

I bought these lights to go outside at Christmas thinking they would probably not be fantastic this time of year with the dull grey weather we were having. I was wrong!! Even on the dullest days the lights charged up enough to last a few hours in the dark - usually still shining, if a little dulled, by the time I went to bed. It was great not having to worry about turning them on & off or setting up a timer - as soon as it got dark the bright little lights came on and then went off in the light (I had them in the front garden and they would go off if a car's lights hit the sensor, but back on again when it passed). I've now moved them into the back garden, and will leave them there to make a pretty display for the summer, they're too good to only keep for Christmas!
