Most star lights use a few hundred LEDs. This one has 1,920 tiny warm white micro LEDs wound tightly around the frame, so the star shines as a dense mass of light with real depth to it.
It is 60 cm high, which makes it a strong focal point on a front wall, in a porch, above a door or in a bay or shop window. Once it is lit, the LEDs hide the frame almost completely.
The 8 hour timer means you switch the star on at the time you want it to start, and it then turns itself on and off at the same time every day.
The 5 m silver lead gives plenty of room to reach a socket, and the silver colour is discreet against light walls and window frames.
Indoors or out
The star is rated IP44, so it can be used outdoors through the Christmas season as well as inside. The maker does not give a separate rating for the plug, so use an indoor socket or an outdoor socket inside a weatherproof socket box.
The light is steady warm white with no flashing modes.

Common Questions
How many LEDs does it have?
It has 1,920 warm white micro LEDs.
Can it be used outdoors?
Yes. It is rated IP44 for indoor or outdoor use. Use an indoor socket, or an outdoor socket inside a weatherproof socket box.
How does the timer work?
It has an 8 hour timer: switch on at the time you want it lit, and it turns on and off at the same time each day.
1,920 micro LEDs on fine copper wire are wrapped around the star frame. Each LED is tiny, so the light reads as a dense sparkle rather than separate bulbs. It runs from a mains plug through a 5 m silver lead, and an 8 hour timer repeats each day from the time you first switch on.
