Large ConnectGo transformer with remote and IP67 weatherproofing
This is the power supply for a big ConnectGo display that you want to control from the house. One mains plug feeds four output ports, and each port runs up to 1,000 LEDs, so a single unit looks after up to 4,000 LEDs across the front of the house, the hedge and the tree. A small remote turns the whole display on and off, dims it and sets the daily timer from up to 8 metres away, so there is no going out in the cold to find a button.
The transformer box is rated IP67, a step up from the IP44 rating on our other ConnectGo transformers. That matters when the box has to sit on wet ground or on a windowsill through a whole winter. The plug itself still needs an indoor socket or a weatherproof socket box.
✓ 4 ports✓ Up to 4,000 LEDs✓ IP67 transformer✓ Remote, 8 m range✓ Dimmer✓ 6 or 8 hour timer

What the remote does
The remote has seven buttons: ON, OFF, DIM+, DIM-, TIMER 6h, TIMER 8h and TIMER OFF. There are no flashing or chasing effects on this model: it gives a steady light, which is what most people want on a large display that runs every evening. Use the dimmer to soften the display for a quiet road or turn it up for a big reveal. The unit remembers your last setting, so the display comes back the way you left it each time it is switched on.
The timer keeps the lights on for 6 or 8 hours, then switches them off and brings them back on at the same time the next day. Set it once, at the time you want the lights to come on, and leave it for the season.

How many ConnectGo sets it will power
Count the LEDs on each port, not just the total. Each port takes up to 1,000 LEDs, so a set that would push a port over 1,000 belongs on the next port.
| ConnectGo set | LEDs per set | Sets per port | Sets in total (4 ports) |
|---|
| ConnectGo cluster lights, 4 m | 300 | 3 | 12 |
| ConnectGo icicle lights, 2 m | 100 | 10 | 40 |
| ConnectGo icicle lights, 5 m | 200 | 5 | 20 |
| ConnectGo net lights, 2 m x 2 m | 140 | 7 | 28 |
| ConnectGo net lights, 3 m x 3 m | 280 | 3 | 12 |
Which ConnectGo transformer do you need?
All four run the same 31V ConnectGo lights. Pick by how many LEDs you have, whether you want effects, and where the box will sit.

Choose this one for a big display where you want a remote and a tougher box, and are happy with a steady light. Choose the CG025B large transformer if you want the eight lighting effects. For a single set or two, the small or medium transformer is enough.

Common Questions
How many ConnectGo sets will this transformer power?
Each of the four ports carries up to 1,000 LEDs, so work it out port by port. Three 4 m cluster sets (300 LEDs each) fill one port, giving twelve sets across all four. Ten 2 m icicle sets (100 LEDs each) fit on one port, so forty in total. Seven 2 m x 2 m nets or three 3 m x 3 m nets fit per port.
Can it be left outside?
The transformer box is rated IP67, so it can sit outdoors in the rain for the season. The mains plug cannot: keep it plugged into an indoor socket or inside a weatherproof outdoor socket box.
Does it have flashing or chasing effects?
No. This transformer gives a steady light that you can dim and put on a timer. The remote has on, off, dim and timer buttons, and no effect button. If you want the eight effects (twinkle, waves, slow fade and so on), choose the CG025B large transformer instead.
How does the timer work?
Switch the lights on at the time you want them to come on each evening, then press TIMER 6h or TIMER 8h on the remote. The lights stay on for that many hours, go off, and come back on at the same time the next day. Without the remote, hold the button on the unit for 3 seconds: green means 6 hours, red means 8 hours. Hold it for 3 seconds again to cancel.
Will it run Connect Pro or other brands' lights?
No. It is made for the 31V ConnectGo range only. Connect Pro lights use a different system and their own power supply.
