Overview
A heavy-duty solar floodlight for driveways, yards and outbuildings: 1160 lumens of cool daylight from 144 LEDs, powered by a separate 25W solar panel and a large 18Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, with a radar motion sensor, a remote control and automatic dusk-to-dawn operation.

The Bastion is built around its power supply. A separate 25W solar panel – far bigger than the panel on a typical solar floodlight – charges an 18Ah lithium iron phosphate battery, and that stored energy runs 144 LEDs at 1160 lumens: enough to light a driveway, a yard or the front of a garage from dusk. A radar motion sensor and a remote control let you choose how it runs: all night, on movement, or for a set number of hours.

This design is made in several sizes, sold as "100W" to "600W" floodlights; the Bastion is the 200W size (the main photo shows the larger 400W model). That figure is a size class, not the power it draws: the Bastion's LEDs use about 10W, and we quote what you actually get – 1160 lumens.
Seasonal performance: Best in spring and summer; limited winter operation depends on strong direct sunshine reaching a well-positioned, unshaded solar panel.
Panel Where the Sun Is, Light Where You Need It
Because the panel is separate from the light, the floodlight can go under an eave, over a garage door or on a north-facing wall while the panel is fixed on the sunniest surface you have, angled towards the midday sun. The light's own sensor switches it on at dusk and off at dawn, and the remote lets you control it without a ladder.

Good to Know
Solar lighting needs direct sunlight – give the panel five hours or more a day with nothing shading it; less sun means shorter running, especially in winter. The light will not switch on if its sensor can see another light at night, so keep it away from porch and street lights. Charge it for a full sunny day before judging running time.
