It's rated for fish ponds up to 4,200 litres (925 gallons), including koi ponds. The pump delivers up to 2,100 L/h (35 L/min) of airflow, which you can split across multiple airstones via a manifold to spread oxygenation around a larger pond or concentrate it in one area for smaller setups.
How noisy is it running next to a patio or seating area?
Very quiet for its output — around 33 dB, roughly a low hum. It uses a steel casing with a double damping system and noise-absorbing function to reduce vibration, so it's suitable to site near seating areas provided you leave space around it for airflow and cable access.
What's included in the box and what accessories will I need?
The pump ships with a 2 m 3-core mains cable already fitted and a 4 mm hose tail outlet. Airline, airstones and a manifold are not included as standard — an optional accessory kit is available with a 6-way chrome manifold, 25 m of 4 mm airline and 4 × 50 mm airstones. Installation should be done by a qualified electrician.
