Angle the panel towards the south for maximum exposure
Ensure the cable can reach your workshop or shed entry point
2. Route the Solar Cable
Feed the cable neatly through a gap, vent, or grommet
Avoid sharp edges that could damage the insulation
Keep the cable away from doors and moving parts
Allow a little slack to prevent strain on the connector
3. Hang the Pendant Lamps
Decide where you need the most light (workbench, centre of room, doorway)
Use the built-in hooks on the lamps to hang them from rafters, beams, or wall hooks
Mount at a reachable height so the on/off switches are easy to access
Make sure each hook fixing is strong enough to support the lamp safely
4. Connect All Components
Plug the solar panel lead into the lamp cable connector
Make sure all plugs are pushed fully home
Neatly route each lamp cable along beams or walls
Avoid leaving loose cable where it could be snagged
5. Secure & Tidy Cables
Use clips or cable ties to fasten leads in place
Remove any trip hazards at head or floor height

Tidy any excess length near the mounting points
