Yes, you can turn off the sensor function to keep the light permanently on during dark hours by using the "On Mode" setting on the included remote control. This allows the light to stay illuminated continuously, providing consistent brightness.
However, we recommend utilizing the PIR (Passive Infrared) motion sensor function, especially during the winter months. In the UK, shorter daylight hours and lower sunlight intensity can limit the energy collected by solar panels. The PIR motion sensor activates the light only when it detects movement, ensuring that the light remains off most of the time to conserve energy. This function not only extends the life of the battery but also maximizes the efficiency of your solar light during periods of limited sunlight.
