Small, slim night lights that give a soft warm glow on stairs, landings, hallways and bedrooms when you get up in the night. They switch on as you move, light the wall rather than your eyes, and switch off again on their own, so nobody has to fumble for a light switch or wake the house with the big light.
We use these at home ourselves, and they are very good. The feature we like most only shows up after a few weeks: when the battery starts to run low, the light doesn't just cut out one night like many battery lights do. It gets gradually dimmer instead, so you get plenty of extra nights and a clear warning that it's time to charge it.

Safe Steps in the Dark

Common Questions
What happens when the battery runs low?
It doesn't just go dark. The light gets gradually dimmer over several nights, which is your cue to charge it, and it keeps working on the lower brightness in the meantime.
How long does a charge last?
Around 2 months in motion mode with normal use, according to the maker; less if it's triggered a lot. In always-on mode a full charge lasts up to 16 hours.
How do I charge them?
Lift them off the wall and plug all three into the 3-in-1 USB-C cable. They're fully charged in about 2 hours from any USB plug or computer port (plug not included).
Will they come on during the day?
Not in motion mode: the light sensor keeps them off until it's dim or dark, so they don't waste charge in daylight.
Can I use them outside?
No. They aren't water resistant, so they're for indoor use: stairs, landings, hallways, bedrooms, bathrooms and cupboards.
