Each Set has 10 large waterproof globes mounted 50 cm apart on a black cable.
Each globe measures approx 4.7 cm in diameter and contains a filament style ultra-bright LED bulb. The 10 bulbs are fitted along a 4.5 m Length.

These lights are so easy to install since each bulb comes complete with a pre-mounted hook.
The 10 bulbs are fitted along a set 4.5m length and the generous 5m lead cable means you're not restricted to placing your festoons by a plug socket.
This set has 10 waterproof, A60 clear bulb caps, running along on a black cable, and each globe contains a single 'filament' LED bulb, which creates an elegant, retro-inspired look.
For all year round outdoor display, the set must be suspended using the hooks on each bulb – if suspended from each end, a support cable must be installed.
Can these festoon lights stay up outside all year round?
Yes, the globe bulbs are rated IP44, making them weatherproof enough for permanent outdoor installation. However, if you're leaving them up year-round, the manufacturer is clear: each bulb must be suspended using its own pre-mounted hook — you can't simply hang the string from both ends without fitting a separate support cable underneath.
How far do these lights actually reach, including the lead cable?
The lit section spans either 4.5 m (10-bulb set) or 6 m (15-bulb set), with bulbs spaced 50 cm apart along a black cable. On top of that, a 5 m lead wire runs from the plug to the first bulb — so your nearest power socket can be up to 5 m away from where the lights begin, giving real flexibility in placement.
What do the multi-coloured bulbs actually look like — is it one colour per globe?
Each globe is a clear A60-style plastic cap with a single filament-effect LED inside. In the multi-coloured option the four colours across the string are red, green, blue, and yellow — one colour per bulb, giving a classic, warm retro feel rather than colour-changing or RGB effects. If you prefer a uniform glow, the warm white option has all bulbs in the same colour.
