The solar panel generates voltage & charges the battery in sunlight. (The energy is stored there if the battery unit is switched off - for use when you want.) The battery is a controller and runs the pump. The pump then pushes water through the tubing and out of froggies mouth back in to your pond.

The battery AND pump have variable flow controls on them to adjust the flow of water The battery also has a basic timer - it will attempt to run 10 mins in every hour when switched on
