A wire-free square ceiling light for anywhere a mains fitting isn't practical. It sticks up with a magnetic base, switches itself on when it senses movement in the dark, and recharges by USB Type-C when the battery runs low.

In Auto mode the built-in PIR sensor turns the light on when someone walks underneath in the dark, and switches it off again 20–30 seconds after the movement stops, so the battery is only used when the light is needed. Prefer it on? Switch to On from the remote or the buttons on the light, choose a warm, neutral or cool white, and set one of five brightness levels.

The MotionSense Pro fits in minutes with no wiring and no drilling. A stick-on plate goes on the ceiling and the light attaches to it magnetically, so you can lift it off whenever it needs charging.
Before You Fit It
Charge fully with the USB Type-C cable
Choose a spot where the sensor has a clear view
Clean the surface so it is dry and dust-free
Fitting the Plate
Peel the backing from the adhesive plate
Press firmly onto the ceiling and hold for 30 seconds
Attach the light: the magnet holds it in place
