How long will it stay on at night after a full day's charge?
After approximately 6 hours of full sunlight charging, the 1200mAh lithium battery delivers 8–12 hours of operation, depending on which of the three modes you select. Motion-only mode (20–25 second bursts per trigger) lasts longest, while dim standby with PIR boost and smart dusk-to-dawn use more power. UK winter sun will reduce charge time and runtime accordingly.
Is 200 lumens bright enough to light a driveway?
No — this unit is designed for localised lighting at entrances, garden paths, walls, fences and low-traffic access points, not wide-area coverage. The product description explicitly notes it is not ideal for large driveways, wide security coverage, or as a floodlight replacement. For driveway-scale illumination, a higher-lumen floodlight-style solar light would be more suitable.
How high should I mount it and how far will the motion sensor reach?
