How Continuous Recording Works
In continuous recording mode, the camera saves video footage directly to the microSD card (if one is installed) or to the cloud (if you have a cloud subscription set up – £36 per year!).
How long can it record on the SD card?
The recording time depends on the size of the microSD card you use and your video quality settings. The camera supports microSD cards up to 128GB (included).
With a 128GB card: You can typically store around 10–14 days of continuous HD video before the oldest footage is automatically overwritten (loop recording).
Lower video quality settings allow for even longer storage, while higher quality or 24/7 recording uses up space more quickly.
Summary
Continuous recordings are stored on the SD card (up to 128GB supported).
When the card is full, the camera will overwrite the oldest footage automatically (loop recording).
You can also use cloud storage as an alternative or backup.
