Connectivity & Charging
Special Joint Connector: Use the supplied joint connector to cover the USB connection outdoors, helping protect against water and dust ingress.
Remote Control Note: Once the joint connector is fitted, the remote control will no longer operate. Please complete any remote setup before fitting the connector.
Charging Options & Recommendations
Dual Charging Options: Charge via the 8V input using the supplied cable, or through the USB charging port.
Recommended Charger: For faster charging, we suggest using a 10W USB power adaptor rather than a standard low-output USB plug.
Battery Management & Efficiency
Battery Orientation: If batteries are ever removed or replaced, ensure they are reinserted following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
Dim Function: Using the dim setting helps extend run time and reduces how often charging is required.

Hi I can't get the power pack to charge fully there is only one green light on the pack illuminated
The battery box included with your Smart Battery Powered Festoon Lights RGBIC requires sufficient power to charge efficiently due to its large 12,000mAh capacity and advanced lithium-ion battery technology. If you are using a standard USB charger (e.g., 5V 1A or 5V 2A), it may not provide enough power for the charging process, which is why you’re only seeing one green light illuminated.
To ensure optimal charging, please follow these steps:
Use a High-Power Charger:
We recommend using a 20W or higher USB Power Delivery (PD) charger. These chargers provide the necessary power to support the step-up conversion required by the battery box.
A standard USB charger (5V 2A) only outputs 10W, which is insufficient to charge the large-capacity battery pack efficiently.
Use the Included Charging Cable:
The included USB to DC (8.4V) converter cable is specially designed to step up the voltage from 5V to 8.4V. This ensures the battery box charges correctly, but it requires a sufficient power source to function efficiently.
Check for Proper Connection:
Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the USB charger and the battery box. Also, check that the charger is plugged into a reliable power source.
