Great Value Solar String Light Performance
These are our basic range, however they will outperform any other economical solar powered string lights in the UK in their price brand!
Stylish and compact with an amorphous silicon panel, enabling them to operate better on cloudy days, compared to the cheaper sets you can buy, so in Autumn you can still depend on them keep going for good periods of time
An Amorphous silicone panel has a greater efficiency, on partially cloudy or cloudy days, and in the UK we get plenty of those!
Basically they are a really good little quality set of fairy lights designed for summer, but because of the quality of these units will work during Autumn, and partially through winter as well

- Select an area in your garden which has really good light
- Place the base unit in the soil with the spike provided
- Place the strings where you want, maybe on a pergola, bush, tree. fence etc
- Turn the unit on, and select the mode, with the mode button
- When it gets dark the unit will automatically turn itself on, and will turn itself off at dawn
During the day the sun charge the rechargeable AA battery inside the solar panel (like a bee :)) that's why we called ourselves PowerBee
When dusk falls the charge stored in the batteries power the lights.
In the morning the lights turn off automatically and charge up again ready for the night ahead.
Our Solar String Lights are fully automatic so you don't need to turn them on and off each night, but you can operate them manually if you like.
You may have to change the batteries every year or so but to be honest sometimes batteries can last for years
Try to look after your strings, never wind them too tightly and treat them well and they will last for years
*The unit will charge whether it is on or off and will come on automatically at dusk
We opted for the budget range of lights from powerbee as to be honest we are not that fussed whether they work over the winter period, we mainly wanted them for summer , but these little LED fairy lights work really well and we are in October now they are still going strong up until midnight some days, overall these are very good value and surprisingly well made for the price
