Once again Powerbee leads the way. This product really does what it says. Even with sometimes shortened periods of charging light available these lights never fail. Very impressed with both the performance and the dual string facility which I find gives me added installation options. Excellent product.Rating

I am delighted with these solar lights.really easy to set up,works really well even when it's rained all day.automatically switches on at dusk which is 9:45at this time of year and stays on till dawn I was up at 5:30 an they were still on. these are a great set of solar lights, they look stunning in my garden, very bright and extremely easy to set up. They are cheaply priced and the whole experience in dealing with this company has been good, from order to delivery ( well within estimate ) right through to customer service.These lights have an additional jack point, therefore another string of 60 can be added if so desired.My grand children think they are magical!! I purchased 2 sets of powerbee 120 fairy lights about this time last year (after reading many of the reviews on amazon), they were incredibly easy to install. I put mine up along both sides of the fence with telephone cable clips (although they did come with little spikes should you wish to pop them in/along the ground). They have come to life every night (summer and winter) without fail. I have been complimented so many times when I have friends around. They make me smile everytime I look out of the window and see them twinkling. I would not hesitate to recommend a high quality/decent priced item. So pleased I am; I've actually just ordered another set to go along the back fence (the other half is quite sure we will awake one day to find a plane has landed in the garden - more lights than a runway! haha) and a sunflower set which i intend to decorate my tree. I bought these lights at the beginning of October 2011 and it's now May 2012. They are absolutely brilliant and light up even after a dull day. It's lovely to come home at night and see the front of the house twinkling - I have them on static setting though!Rating

These lights are incredible. I first bought a set of 120 Powerbee Solar Fairy lights in the summer of 2009 and despite living in the North of England have never had to recharge the solar panel. During the winter these were the only solar lights I have that came on consistently. They work brilliantly and are extremely beautiful to look at. I have recently bought another set of 120 lights and two sets of 60 lights and once again these lights are fantastic. One of the good things about the 120 light set is that it consists of two sixty light strands which plug into the charger - this is ideal if you want to place the lights along a wall as you can put the charger in a central position and then have the lights coming out from the right and left. They are of superb quality and I really cannot recommend them enough. I recently purchased a set of Powerbee Solar Fairy Lights 120 superbright LED's.They are without a doubt the best solar lights I have ever had and they are extremely easy to install.Rating
The lights are draped around my decking area and they look fantastic at night.They are very bright,sparkle beautifully and look magical! The multifunction facility is excellent! These twinkling lights have added a new and beautiful dimension to my garden at night and my neighbours have also admired them.
I am so pleased with them that I have purchased a second set of 60 Powerbee Solar Lights for a friends 60th birthday!
I cannot recommend them highly enough -all other brands I have previously owned pale into darkness compared to my Powerbees lights.

These lights are superb quality and easy to set up as you can arrange your two sets of 60 lights in your desired position while you charge the solar unit indoors for it's first use. After several attempts at different locations I finally decided to pop the whole lot around a potted medium sized ornamental bush where they look stunning. I wanted lighting in an area that is mostly in shade through the day and these are just the job as you can unplug the powerful 300mAh solar panel leaving the light strings in situ, the solar panel can be popped on a base or stake (both provided) and left in the sun until needed (although from reading other reviews this may not be necessary). The LEDs are a good bright white-light, come on as soon as it gets dusk, stay on till dawn and are definitely waterproof as at the weekend we had torrential rain and thunder which has had no ill effect on them. Having an indoor charger is an added bonus so I shall be able to use them all year round. Everything you need to get up and running quickly is included - even a rubber bung for where the indoor charger connects so moisture doesn't get in, a hinged lid on the solar panel so you can access switches etc but which keeps things dry and a good Instruction Sheet.Rating
I am so very pleased with the lights and service I received from the market trader PowerBee, that I've ordered another set in readiness for Christmas in the 3-colour option. I bought one set of 120 Powerbee solar fairy lights 10 months ago, and have not had to recharge them once - all through the winter, even on the dullest, darkest of days, the lights came on bright at dusk. I've got them strung around either side of an arch and they bring the garden to life at night. I'm so impressed that I've bought another two sets for my two daughters in South Africa and I know they won't be disappointed. There are so many rubbishy solar lights around, that it's reassuring when you find a superior product like this. A bonus is that you have the option of charging the solar panel inside, without having to drag all the lights with, if you need or want them brighter in winter, but I didn't find it necessary. So easy to install there are three options :
Spike Mounting :
Use the spike and place this is the ground first on its own, then add the unit to this.
Before attempting to push the spike into the ground, please check that the
ground is not too hard. If the ground is too hard, pour water on the desired area to
soften the ground and make a hole using a strong metal object before driving your spike into the hole.
Wall, fence and deck mounting :
Attach the wall mounting bracket to your wall, fence or decking using the supplied screws
and Rawl plugs. Now your wall mount is in place, locate your solar panel module and
gently push it onto the wall mount until it is fully inserted and secure.
Windowsill mounting :
- During the day the sun charge the rechargeable AA battery inside the solar panel (like a bee :)) that's why we called ourselves PowerBee
- When dusk falls the charge stored in the batteries power the lights.
- In the morning the lights turn off automatically and charge up again ready for the night ahead.
- Our Solar Fairy Lights are fully automatic so you don't need to turn them on and off each night, but you can operate them manually if you like.
- You may have to change the batteries every year or so but to be honest sometimes batteries can last for years
- Try to look after your strings, never wind them too tightly and treat them well and they will last for years
*The unit will charge whether it is on or off and will come on automatically at dusk
