EasyPond Box Set 6000 is powered by the Flow Master 3500 pond pump that has a strong impeller that can handle solids up to 5mm in size. It has a maximum flow rate of 3500 litres per hour. This means that the pump can push through dirty water 24/7 without clogging and with little maintenance.
The Pump includes a free fountain kit - if you want to create a fountain display simply cover the impeller with the secondary strainer (supplied) to prevent solid matter being sucked up then attach the supplied fountain pieces. It is possible to run a fountain and divert water to the filter at the same time
The dirty water is pushed into the Filtobox 6000 pond filter were enters through the multistage hosetail past the UVC where it is pushed through foam into the first chamber of biomedia. The water is then flows into a second chamber and is forced upwards through foam up and over into the final chamber.Clean water then returns.
Conveniently this set also includes a 5m length of 25mm hose to join the pump to the filter.
Also included are hose clips with easy-tighten butterfly handles. This means that you have everything you need to power a pond up to 7000 Litres (1500 gallons)

FlowMaster Pump
The FlowMaster 3500 is provided with a secondary strainer cage attached. This provides a filter/guard to prevent debris from entering the pump unit; this sits in front of your pump’s impellor.
It is important that this secondary cage should be affixed whilst using the fountain attachment as this will prevent small particles from entering the pump and clogging up the fountainhead.
The fountain attachment is not an essential fitment unless you intend have a fountain running and the majority of our customers use this pump for filtering only. In this case you should follow the instructions below:-
Using The Pump to Power The Filter Only
- Unpack all components carefully.
- Unscrew the screw to the lower rear of the pump; this holds the single cage fitment.
- Depress the four retaining clips to the outer of the pump and this will allow you to separate the outer pump housing and allow access to the pump.
- Simply twist and pull the mesh cage off the front of the pump (and store for safekeeping).
- Once you have removed the pump housing clip the cage lid back into position and secure with the housing screw.
- In order to continue with the set up of the pump please fit the supplied multi-stage hosetail (ensuring rubber washer is pushed into the thread).
- This can then be cut down to fit the relevant hose size, i.e. 25x32 or 40mm.
Using The Pump to Power a Fountain AND Filter
If you wish to use both functions of the FlowMaster pump simultaneously you will need to set up in preparation for both.
The fountain kit is supplied in this box and can be set up first as per the enclosed instructions. Once assembled the fountain can be threaded to the outlet marked to the pump cage. A selection of fountain heads are provided to create a range of effects an can be changed at will.
To enable the pump to flow to a filter there also needs to be a flexible hose attached to the 25mm outlet positioned on the side of the T' piece. The flow regulator to the side of this T' piece allows you to adjust the flow to the fountain piece and/or the main pump unit to allow filtration.
Your pond pump and UVC filter are powered by electricity, meaning they need to be connected to the mains supply. Special care must be taken during this part of the installation process and we recommend consulting an electrician to acquire assistance.
For maximum flow performance (reduced friction loss) it is recommended that the lowest unused section of all pump and filter hosetails be removed if possible.
NO PART OF FILTER UNIT SHOULD EVER BE SUBMERGED IN WATER.
