During winter it is important not to let your battery go flat when storing the fountain
- Place the solar floating fountain under fill sunlight for a whole day before you use it for first time
- Remove the stopper of the DC pump socket , twist the pump plug slightly and push it into the hole of the pump socket ,
and then connect the vent of pump with the hose in the middle of the rear side of solar panel
- Choose a sprinkle fitting for the type of fountain spray that you want to see
- Find a sunny location and place the floating solar fountain on the water surface and it is now ready to use
If you want to have long operating time in the evening, then turn the solar fountain "OFF" during the day then turn it "ON" whenever you need.
This is a great little pump/fountain co.bo in one floating package. It's great there are no cables to separate solar panels and it does have (intentional???) hoops on the underside that allow you to anchor it to a weight. However it does seem to only run in direct sunlight (i.e. in the middle of a blazing sunny day when it was in partial shade from a narrow cherry tree it stopped [despite the ambient light still being bright/strong])
My biggest grumble tho' is having to "code break" the timer function. I had no idea I'd activated it and now have to try and work out, with no instructions, how to deactivate it with only 4 buttons on the remote of which 1 is labelled "timer". Instructions would help or a more intuitive system. But the product works and looks great

Nice floating fountain
Have enjoyed this item very much. Easy to set up, but *must* be in a location that is sunny for much of the day to get the full effect. Nice to watch at night, but save battery power for it during the day if possible. Haven't mastered the multiple clicks for 1,2,3 and 4 hour durations yet. Also, if you have more than one of these fountains, the remote will operate them both simultaneously, but for independent control they must be quite a distance apart (>8-10 metres).
Finally a reliable floating fountain
I have tested a lot of these and to be honest out of all of the floating pumps I have tested this one is by FAR the most reliable, as the solar cells sit on top of the unit without an angle of any sort,
they have to be high quality and numerous to work, this fountain checks all the boxes.

Very Cool I love the remote, you can save the power more easily works much better on brighter days than dull ones but we really love our floating fountain
